Job Summary: We are looking for a strongly motivated, success driven Sales Manager who will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities within the life sciences sector. You will actively manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to contract negotiation and deal closure. With a consultative sales approach, you will effectively communicate the value of our platform, drive customer adoption, and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed assigned quota targets.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
- Conduct compelling product presentations and software demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
- Clearly articulate CellarioOS’s value proposition and competitive advantages to key decision-makers.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent deal flow and revenue growth.
- Work collaboratively with Applications, Product, and Engineering teams to address technical requirements and craft customized solutions.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close deals while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive renewals and expand business opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
- Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:
- A high degree of personal motivation and drive for success along with exceptional organizational and time management skills; innate initiative, attention to detail and multi-tasking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in SaaS sales, preferably within the life sciences or biotech industry.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota in a B2B sales environment.
- Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to translate technical features into business value.
- Experience selling cloud-based platforms, APIs, and system integrations is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive sales approach.
- Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track leads and pipeline progress.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with clients and attend industry events.
