You will play a key role in pre-sales engagements, onboarding, and customer success, ensuring clients understand how our software can meet their business and scientific needs. Your expertise will drive product adoption, renewals, and overall revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the sales discovery process by identifying key customer needs, shaping solutions to align with their priorities, and strategically positioning offerings to stand out from the competition
- Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations across all product use cases.
- Develop and deliver curated demos tailored to specific customer needs, confidently incorporating C# /Python scripting and API calls.
- Assist in navigating and communicating the CellarioOS product roadmap during commercial discussions.
- Work with Engineering and Product teams to design integration solutions for customer proposals..
- Generate detailed Statements of Work (SOW) to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Support the development of testing documents for customer implementations to validate system functionality, ensure smooth deployment, and support customer onboarding.
- Assist in creating sales enablement materials, including case studies, whitepapers, and product comparison documents.
- Work closely with product and development teams to communicate customer feedback to contribute to product improvements.
- Collaborate closely with team members across diverse functional backgrounds (biology, chemistry, and CellarioOS platform) to enhance collective expertise and drive success in selling comprehensive automation solution
- Assist in the review of customer terms and conditions to assess our product’s ability to meet SaaS specific requirements such as product uptime, support response times, and compliance standards.
- Engage with Customer IT and Security teams to effectively communicate how the solution integrates within their network, addressing concerns and facilitating progress.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and potential sales opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical or sales role (e.g., Pre-Sales Engineer, Sales Support, Customer Success, or Product Specialist) within the life sciences or SaaS industry.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based platforms, APIs, and system integrations.
- Familiarity of the pharma/biotech R D software landscape from experimental design, to data analysis and insight
- Proven ability to deliver engaging technical demonstrations and articulate software value propositions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer engagement.
- Experience with CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
