Lawn Care Team Member

Job Summary:

A Lawn Care Team Member is responsible for performing a variety of lawn care tasks to ensure the health, appearance, and maintenance of residential and commercial properties. This includes mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and performing seasonal tasks such as overseeding and leaf removal. Team members work together to provide high-quality lawn care services, contributing to the overall aesthetic and health of the lawn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning and organizing of the job site.
• Operate mowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, and a variety of other equipment.
• Immediately report any damaged, broken, missing, or malfunctioning equipment and/or safety concerns to the Operations Manager and/or mechanic.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Promote safety in every aspect of the job by upholding PPE policies.
• Perform other assigned tasks.

Must be proficient in:

• Operation of mowers, string trimmers, and leaf blowers.
• Loading, unloading, and securing equipment in the vehicle.
• Cleaning, fueling, and re-stringing equipment.

Physical Fitness:

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks like lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. 

Typical Work Environment:

• Primarily outdoors on various client properties, including residential and commercial landscapes. 
• Exposure to weather elements, including sun, rain, and extreme temperatures. 

Driver’s License:

• Valid Driver’s License that is not currently suspended or revoked (driving record must meet the insurance carrier’s policy requirements and Highridge Landscapes Inc. driving standards).

Preferred:

• 1 year of previous lawn care experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
