We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Associate Demand Planner to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless coordination of demand planning, forecasting, and activities globally. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to optimize our supply chain processes.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Candidate must have previous demand planning experience in a global environment using statistical methods and software.
- Be familiar with a standard demand planning cycle, global demand consensus review, etc. with sales, marketing, and other relevant departments to gather demand forecasts and market insights (e.g. sales growth, sales declines, brand rationalizations, new product launches and impact to demand for specific brands).
- Work with Finance to ensure demand plan aligns with financial growth targets by brand and course correct as needed.
- Own and improve the set forecasting process for the brands assigned.
- Use historical data, market trends, and predictive analytics to generate accurate demand forecasts. analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data for decision-making.
- Evaluate and own the accuracy of demand forecasts (i.e. your KPIs and targets), adjusting as necessary, to minimize forecast errors which lead to inventory stockouts and back orders, or excess and obsolete inventory.
- Conduct regular meetings with global stakeholders to review demand and supply planning updates, address concerns, and align strategies.
- Participate in the implementation and enhancement of supply chain planning tools and software.
- Ability to understand various warehouse, inventory, and planning data in SAP.
- Understand and act upon Operation KPIs including working capital, inventory turns, DOH/MOH, and financial reporting.
- Professionally present information orally or in written format (i.e., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Outlook).

Expected Areas of Competence (i.e., knowledge, skills, and abilities)
- Knowledge of statistical forecast software is required (Forecast Pro is a plus, but other relevant software will be accepted).
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data for decision-making.
- Act as a leader to conduct regular demand planning process reviews (e.g. Demand Consensus Review, country review, etc.)
- Experience with data management and analysis in Microsoft Excel is critical.
- Ability to use MS Office applications (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Power BI is required.
- Emotional intelligence, strong communication skills, and ability to build consensus across multiple stakeholders in a global environment.

Education/Experience Requirements
- Degree in supply chain management, operations, business, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in supply chain, demand forecasting, and inventory management required.
- Minimum of 2 years using supply chain planning software (e.g. Forecast Pro) and SAP.
- Medical Device, Biologics, or Pharma Industry experience a plus.
