Role Overview
We are in search of a talented and driven Senior Network Solutions Engineer to become an integral part of our IT Infrastructure team. Reporting to the Director of IT Infrastructure, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced networking solutions for our global sites. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, SD-WAN technologies, and foundational networking protocols like DHCP and DNS.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage a resilient network infrastructure across global locations to ensure high availability and peak performance.
- Configure and maintain a variety of networking equipment, including routers, switches, and wireless access points from Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba.
- Administer SD-WAN solutions to optimize connectivity and facilitate seamless communication among global offices.
- Oversee and troubleshoot critical network services including DHCP, DNS, and VLAN configurations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to establish and uphold network security protocols and policies.
- Engage in network monitoring, analyze capacity, and optimize performance regularly.
- Lead network-focused projects and liaise with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Document network configurations, updates, and operational procedures comprehensively.
- Provide Tier 3 support for escalated networking challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7 - 9 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
- Expertise in configuring and managing networking hardware from Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba.
- Proven track record with SD-WAN deployment and administration.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP / IP, BGP, OSPF, DHCP, and DNS.
- Proficiency in network security measures, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Adept at troubleshooting complex network issues efficiently.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent.
- Experience in managing multi-site global environments.
- Familiarity with cloud networking solutions.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and service management principles.
