About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Engineer (Frontend) to drive Highspot’s in-app analytics experience within our Data & Analytics Pillar. This role is focused on building scalable, performant, and highly interactive frontend components that enable our customers to gain real-time insights into their sales enablement and go-to-market strategies.
As a key contributor, you will evolve our TypeScript/React/Highcharts-based frontend framework, optimize data-driven UI components, and ensure seamless user interactions for self-serve analytics and reporting. You will work closely with design, product, and backend engineers to create a compelling, intuitive analytics experience for Highspot users.
\n- Build Scalable Analytics Frontend Components – Design and implement reusable, high-performance React components that power interactive analytics experiences.
- Enhance Composable Reporting Framework – Contribute to the evolution of our in-app analytics UI, enabling dynamic, self-serve reporting for end users.
- Improve State Management & Data Handling – Implement best practices for managing frontend state, ensuring smooth data flows and interactions.
- Drive Frontend Engineering Best Practices – Establish and promote standards around accessibility, testing, code maintainability, and performance optimizations.
- Collaborate Across Teams – Partner with design, product, and backend engineers to define API requirements, refine UX, and improve overall analytics platform capabilities.
- Mentor & Guide Engineers – Provide technical mentorship and best practices to elevate frontend engineering excellence within the team.
- Frontend Engineering Expertise – 7 years of experience in software engineering, specializing in frontend development with TypeScript, React, and modern UI frameworks.
- Strong UI/UX Understanding – Proven ability to design and implement data-rich, interactive experiences that balance performance, usability, and accessibility.
- Performance Optimization – Experience optimizing rendering performance, managing large data sets in UI, and tuning frontend application responsiveness.
- Component-Based Architecture – Deep understanding of React’s component model, state management libraries, and best practices for modular, scalable frontend systems.
- Analytics & Data Visualization – Experience working with charting/visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Recharts, Highcharts) and integrating analytics-driven UI components.
- Collaborative Mindset – Ability to work effectively with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to build high-quality user experiences.

Base salary range: $166,000 - $272,000. Employees are eligible to receive stock options and may also receive other forms of compensation.
The above represents total expected compensation for this role. Actual compensation will depend on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to, location, experience, and job qualifications.
