Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Office Manager to lead and manage the daily operations of our dental practice. This individual will ensure the smooth operation of the office, manage the front desk and clinical team, oversee scheduling, billing, patient relations, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. The Dental Office Manager will also work closely with the practice owner or dentist to improve office processes and drive overall patient satisfaction. A successful Office manager should have experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets and databases) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties.
- NOTE-We are only Looking for Candidates who have Dental office Manager experience. Other industry experience is not required.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the point person for office manager duties including: maintenance, mailing, supplies, equipment, bills, errands, shopping
- Schedule meetings and appointments
- Organize the office layout and order stationery and equipment
- Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs
- Partner with HR to update and maintain office policies as necessary
- Organize office operations and procedures
- Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment
- Manage office General and Administrative budget, ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Provide general support to visitors
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires
- Address employees queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, Hardware and travel arrangements)
Skills Required:
- Required 2 - 3 years of Experience in Dental Office Administration/ Dental front desk
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual (English and Spanish preferred not required)
- Must have 2 - 3 years of Dental Office Experience.
- Must have Management Skills.
- Patient communication: Scheduling patients, responding to calls and working on the schedule.
- Insurance verification: familiarity with verifying all insurances and updating it on the practice software.
- Familiarity with open dental software. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and OSHA regulations
- Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
- Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Familiarity with email scheduling tools, like Email Scheduler and Boomerang
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
- High School degree.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
