ABOUT HTLA HIGH SCHOOL
Our mission statement : "HighTech LA is a diverse community of active learners dedicated to fusing the traditional academic subjects with real-world technical applications and problem-solving skills. Students are productive, self-directed learners, engaged in rigorous, relevant work. HighTech LA, established in 2002, is a 400 student college- preparatory charter high school in the San Fernando Valley (Northern Los Angeles.). HTLA is a 2021, 2019, 2007 California Distinguished School, 2017 Gold Ribbon School, and 2022 Calfiornia Pivotal Practice Program. According to Niche HTLA is #8 of 507 Best Charter High Schools in CA and our teachers ranked in the top 1% in their national, state, county and city lists.

REQUIREMENTS :
All instructional personnel are required to hold valid California teaching credentials, permits or certificates appropriate to the assignment. Offers of employment are contingent upon satisfaction of certain pre-employment verifications and clearances including, but not limited to, a single subject teaching credential or authorization to teach English, DOJ fingerprint clearance, verification of eligibility to work in the United States, and TB clearance.
