Altium is seeking an accomplished and client-focused Financial Advisor to join our team. The financial advisor will be responsible for providing personalized financial planning and investment advice to clients, helping them achieve their short and long-term financial goals. The role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, investments, and strategies, as well as coupled with excellent verbal and non-verbal and rapport-building capabilities.
This role will be positioned in our Madison, CT office and require some on-site training at our Purchase, NY office.

What You’ll Do
- Assess client’s financial situations, including income, expenses, assets and liabilities to develop tailored financial plans.
- Provide advice on investment options, retirement planning, tax strategies, estate planning, and risk management.
- Educate clients on financial products, services, and strategies to empower informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive financial solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic conditions.
- Maintain adequate records and utilize various technologies to interact with internal departments.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- One to three years’ financial services experience.
- Very strong attention to detail and strong organization skills.
- Is willing to work towards or is currently pursuing a CFA or CFP designation.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience with the following tools a plus: Black Diamond, eMoney, Bloomberg, Salesforce, FactSet or other planning and analytic tools.
- Coverage on the first day of employment for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Paid parental leave (16 weeks) for primary caregiver and 8 weeks for secondary caregiver).

- Base salary of $90,000 - $125,000 plus discretionary bonus (exact base salary amount will be dependent on experience).
