Highway 58 Animal Hospital and Laparoscopic Surgery Center is a full service state-of-the-art animal care facility that has been serving the medical needs of pet owners in Chattanooga, Tennessee and the surrounding areas since 1977.
Providing high quality medicine while maintaining affordable costs for our clients, Highway 58 Animal Hospital sets itself apart from other veterinary clinics by offering a wide variety of services and surgeries that are typically found only at referral centers. Some of the advanced services we offer include Computerized Tomography (CT) scans, and laparoscopic surgery.
Position Purpose
Come extern with us!Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.
Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.
Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.

Eligibility
Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
Must be able to provide student PLIT
