We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Painter to join our team. As an Auto Body Painter, you will be responsible for refinishing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Painting (base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats), blending adjacent panels, tinting for correct match, and paint correcting vehicles.
- Collaborate with service manager to follow through the work flow process
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in heavy lifting of vehicle parts and components as needed for preparation to paint.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive refinishing techniques and technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in auto body repair field is preferred.
- Knowledge of both water base and solvent base paint is required.
- Strong painting knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive paint issues.
- Proficiency in using equipment specific to auto body paint work.
- Excellent communication service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other employees.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with vehicle repairs.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is essential.
