What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder position at Highway Machine Co.?

Welder responsibilities includes, but is not limited to:
- Performing self-inspection quality check
- Being capable of decision making, regarding weld quality and appropriate corrective actions, as needed
- Welding, cutting, grinding, and running production of large gears
- Operating cranes and forklifts
- Performing preventive maintenance on all welding equipment.
A prime Welder for this position would be highly motivated, dependable, mechanically-inclined, and detail-oriented. Experience in stick welding, mig welding, or submerged arc welding is preferred. Candidates must be able to physically lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Candidates must be Authorized to work in the US and able to commute to Princeton, IN.
