Job Summary
Highway 16 Mini Storage is now hiring a part-time employee to work 9am-5pm two days per week, plus extra shifts when available: Every Saturday, plus one weekday of your choice.
Duties
- taking monthly rent payments
- giving tours of the facility and of units to prospective tenants
- answering the phone
- sending emails
- taking notes
- printing and mailing letters
- going over contracts.
Requirements
- Applicant must have basic computer proficiency (typing, email, internet browser, printing, scanning, copying, and a willingness to learn our accounting software). This job is part clerical work, part retail, part landlord
There is a lot to learn at first, so you are welcome to work extra shifts while in training. After that, you will be assisting me one day per week and then working in the office by yourself on Saturdays. There can often be quite a bit of downtime, in which you are welcome to use as personal free time for anything which you can pause at a moment's notice in order to help a customer who suddenly calls or shows up.
