What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Specialist position at Highway Trailer Sales, Inc.?
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department
- Ability to use our company computer system
- Ability to complete cash or credit transactions
- Provide parts/accessory sales service to walk-in, phone, and email customers
- Help customers locate parts/accessories on the showroom floor or through ordering
- Assist the Service Department in parts ordering for various types of Recreational Vehicles
- Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases
- Emphasize product/service features and benefits and be able to quote prices
- Assist other Parts Department team members in inventory control through ordering, receiving, and periodic/yearly inventory counts.
- Building strong relationships with customers, vendors/manufacturers, and employees
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be a team player, demonstrate attention to detail and have good organizational skills
- Holds a valid drivers license
- Must be able to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues through speaking, writing, and typing
- Ability to use computers and learn our company software system
- No Experience Required. We will train you. Looking for a reliable individual that is excited about learning and contributing to the success of the Parts Department.

Salary: $17.00 to $22.00 /hour
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
