Job Description:
The Retail Manager is responsible for running the store successfully. Working and restocking on the store floor, they are in constant contact with their customers and staff. They are responsible for ensuring great customer service as well as monitoring the financial performance of the store.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as retail manager or in other managerial position
- Knowledge of retail management best practices
- Knowledge of the procurement process and bulk vendor relationships
- Commercial awareness
- Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles
- Excellent knowledge of retail management software
- Dependable, punctual, impeccable attendance record
- Accurate, attention to detail, service oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive attitude, strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills
- Excellent math aptitude and cash handling ability
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Professional demeanor
- Proficient computer skills, including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to work on feet for extended periods
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
