Role Description
Freight brokers put an incredible amount of trust in Highway, and that trust will be extended to you. Work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to set the strategy for Partnerships and execute against the business plan. Focused on key strategic partnerships that will bring in additional revenue streams to Highway’s existing value proposition.
Your role:
- Define and develop a strategic partnerships plan that outlines key milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure a smooth delivery and successful execution,
- Establish and define the quarterly/yearly revenue targets for the partnership organization, owning the outcomes for delivery against the plan.
- Coordinate the management of ongoing relationships with existing partners and new partner opportunities.
- Develop commercial terms and establish commercialized partnership agreements that are ready to market.
- Develop systems and procedures in support of the partnership program, identifying key dependencies and resources required.
- In conjunction with the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Financial Officer, manage the reporting and financial tracking of strategic partnership activities.
- Ensure reporting capabilities are set up in Salesforce and systems associated to provide visibility on partnership performance to the C-suite.
- Create relevant content to support the partnership program, including sales presentations, demonstrations, and any relevant assets to convey the value of the Partnership program.
- Hit quota and manage partnerships pipeline with weekly and monthly status updates to the broader team focused on both near-term and long-term strategic partnership opportunities.
Qualifications
- Highly experienced in managing and developing business relationships and partnerships in the freight and transportation space.
- Proven track record of hitting sales quotas, targets, and associated metrics.
- Excellent communicator, comfortable establishing a Partnership program message, strategic plan, and delivery outline.
- Proven experience in the transportation and or freight tech space.
- Comfortable having autonomy over a partnership program that requires scoping, planning, and executing against the plan in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly proficient in Salesforce reporting, establishing metrics, and tracking performance related to partnerships mutually beneficial for Highway and its partners.
- An executor - someone who knows how to jump into the details, make a plan, and execute on it themselves.
