Position Overview:
Project Clean is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Lead to join our team. This pivotal role ensures smooth and efficient operations while supporting our mission to create sustainable and safe cleaning products. The Warehouse Lead will collaborate with various teams to streamline processes, manage resources, and ensure adherence to organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee warehouse, and shipping and receiving.
- Plan and schedule in and outbound truckloads to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between all departments.
- Monitor shipping schedules and gather shipping quotes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to shipping and receiving, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with carriers and brokers to ensure timely delivery of finished products to customers.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of raw materials and finished products.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Perform data entry and pull-out report on ERP.
- Assist with the organization of production and warehouse files physically and digitally.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products and the status of orders.
- Contribute to the creation of standard procedures and processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- Operational knowledge of forklift, reach, truck, scissor lift, and other applicable warehouse equipment.
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse lead or similar role.
- Understanding of ERP process and execution
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and cross-functional collaboration and communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and other manufacturing-related software.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
