As we continue to expand and evolve, we seek a highly skilled and motivated Information Technology Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Information Technology Specialist will report directly to the IT&IS Manager and will be responsible for supporting all technology found in the company including; hardware, software, mobile, infrastructure, virtual and physical computers and end user support. This role requires a strategic thinker, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to driving efficiency and effectiveness in our IT operations.
This position assists staff with technical support of computers, applications, printers and related technology. Support includes installation and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. Activities require interaction and understanding of application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems. The position utilizes one-on-one consultancy to staff. The position’s responsibilities require independent analyses, communication, and problem solving. Work is performed with supervision but will require initiative and judgment.
Essential Functions:

IT Support
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure timely resolution of user-reported problems and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain IT support policies, procedures, and knowledge base resources.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.

Mobile Device Support and Management
- Maintain all mobile devices, cellular phones and tablets via MDM software

IT Security
- Assist IT&IS department to conduct regular security assessments and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Technology Advancements
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to IT systems.
- Identify opportunities for technological advancements and efficiencies within the organization.

IT Documentation
- Maintain documentation for IT procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
- Ensure that all IT documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant teams.
- Maintain a database of all IT assets and hardware
Mental and Physical Demands:
- Experiences frequent interruptions; required to meet inflexible deadlines; requires concentration and attention to detail; requires a high level of organizational and prioritization skills; may occasionally deal with distraught or difficult individuals.
- Requires ability to maintain absolute confidentiality of information received.
- Required to sit for prolonged periods; prolonged periods behind a visual display; dexterity and precision required in the operation of computers and for electronics repair.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Core Competencies/Qualifications and Skills
- Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field desired. Technology certifications and/or work experience in lieu of a degree will be evaluated.
- Proven experience 2 years in IT systems and infrastructure support in a business environment.
- Experience with supporting users, computers and servers in a VMware environment.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Exchange management.
- Strong understanding of enterprise-level applications and their integration.
- In-depth knowledge of IT security best practices and protocols.
- Experienced in project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with SAGE 300, Appfolio or similar programs is a plus.

- Some travel and after hours support will be required.
