Summary
Mission Technologies, a Division of HII is seeking a Network Engineer (Testing) to support Air National Guard (ANG) F-16 Mission Tactics Trainer (MTT) simulators in Mesa, AZ. The individual's primary responsibility will be to design and plan testing for network systems; provide specifications and detailed schematics for testing network architecture; create, modify and review network test plans.

Summary
Mission Technologies, a Division of HII is seeking a Network Engineer (Testing) to support Air National Guard (ANG) F-16 Mission Tactics Trainer (MTT) simulators in Mesa, AZ. The individual's primary responsibility will be to design and plan testing for network systems; provide specifications and detailed schematics for testing network architecture; create, modify and review network test plans.
What you will do
- Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints.
- Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems.
- Coordinates integrated testing activities.
- Reviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test program.
- Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you must have
- 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
- Must maintain Security certification.
- Familiarity with applying Secure Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) Checklists and basic critical analysis/troubleshooting in the application of the STIG.
- Experience analyzing network traffic and troubleshooting DIS/HLA packets using Wireshark, DPA, or similar software tools.
- Certifiable knowledge of networking operations and associated peripheral equipment: LANs, WANs, remote access systems, routers, bridges, copper and fiber cabling, and firewalls.
- Expertise in principles, practices, and techniques in the install and maintenance of hardware.
- Expertise in network management tools and problem analysis techniques.
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage both project and program activities.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Experience researching new technologies to help solve existing technical problems or shortfalls.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to upgrade to Special Access Programs / Special Access Required (SAP/SAR).
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in the DoD simulator community.
- Experience supporting SAP efforts.
