Mission Technologies is leading the next evolution of national defense – the data evolution – by accelerating a breadth of national security solutions for government and commercial customers.Job Description The HII Integrated Warfare team is looking for a Information Assurance Engineer III (Cloud) to support our work with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Cyber Division. This position can be located at either Hanscom Air Force Base or Wright Patterson Air Force Base.This role will support The Cyber Systems Engineering Division (AFLCMC / EZC) in providing state–of–the–art technical support for the acquisition of cloud Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) boundary systems within United States Air Force (USAF) Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC). The successful candidate will provide both subject matter expertise and process development to programs of record within the AFLCMC for matters of training, system and software security, mission assurance, risk management, and cyber resilience.Essential Job Responsibilities Builds, designs, implements and refines cloud architectures and provides prescriptive guidance across the network and security.Leads early scoping definitions and identifies critical dependencies.Identifies and mitigates technology risks and develops architecture to support processes.Collaborates with functional business units to drive business solutions and direction.Develops and documents framework for integration and implementation of cloud systems.Understands and determines sizing, capacity planning and requirements for infrastructure, network, and security in the cloud offering.All IA Engineer IIIs shall be required to attend at least 40 hours of Government provided training annually.The IA Engineer IIIs shall be required to attain and maintain cloud specific certifications such as CCSP, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other equivalent certification or experience to maintain intermediate proficiency level as defined by DoD 8140.Minimum Qualifications 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), CompTIA Cloud Active TS / SCI clearancePossess cloud specific certifications (e.g., certified cloud security professional, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure certifications).One year's experience (at a minimum) in documenting assessment results in eMASS or in a Government provided SAR workbook Excel worksheet.Three years' experience (at a minimum) in analyzing deficient security controls and assessing the residual risk of information systems.Preferred Requirements Physical Requirements : Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of job.The listed salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities.
