The Role
The Director of IT reports to Ingalls’ VP & CIO. The selected candidate will be responsible for the effective governance and delivery of all information technology services to Ingalls Shipbuilding.
Responsibilities
The selected director will be responsible for the delivery of all IT software and infrastructure required by Ingalls Shipbuilding. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading the IT staff, ensuring compliance to Ingalls’ contractual rights and obligations in outsourcing arrangements, obtaining and maintaining 3rd party services, and developing a culture of engagement and continuous improvement within the department.
Additional common management responsibilities are listed in Shipbuilding Management Charter 0001 within Command Media (SBMC 0001). Applicants should review the Charter and policies and procedures before applying for this position.
Must Have
Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline with 10 years experience in shipbuilding or providing IT services, leadership experience; Master's degree and 8 years relevant experience.
