Job Description

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a quality military veteran or IC Agency counterpart to join our team supporting our customer operations in the Fort Meade, MD area. This position is for a Due Diligence Specialist - CI - HUMINT (Mission Assurance 3) supporting a complex program, for a Combatant Command (CCMD).


  • The Due Diligence expert will support research and analysis efforts in support of a DOD customer.
  • The applicant will operate in a Joint and or DoD unique environment.
  • Lead the execution of both scheduled and unscheduled Assessment, Risk Management, and Due Diligence assessments across diverse plans, platforms, programs, and operational functions.
  • Supports or leads task areas while coordinating closely with engagement team management and client leadership on strategy, planning, execution, status, and review processes.
  • Adapts to a changing client environment while meeting client expectations
  • Manages priorities and works effectively to initiate correspondence and task completion. Supports multiple efforts through flexible multi-task coordination
  • Provides summary recommendations to team leadership regarding assigned work stream
  • Applies fundamental industry knowledge and standards to support client reviews, improvements, and/or implementations
  • Prepares presentations, briefings, and actively participates in client meetings and day-to-day interactions
  • Communicates with team management through effective status reporting and demonstrates ownership and accountability for assigned task areas and work products
  • Establishes professional rapport with clients and other organizations
  • Evaluates work products for technical accuracy, deliverable quality, and overall value to the client
  • Attends relevant training, business seminars, and/or conferences to stay current with technical skills that align with client’s needs and changes in the industry

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Familiarity with current DoD policies regarding Risk Management is required.
  • Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Position supports multiple mission partners; incumbent must be able to travel within the continental US and OCONUS locations as required.
  • Position is located at Fort Meade, MD

Minimum Qualifications

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.

  • Must be a graduate of the JCITA Due Diligence course or 3-letter agency equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Due Diligence experience. Experience may be substituted for education.
  • Knowledge of various open source, digital behaviors, and common platforms utilized in one or more Combatant Command’s Areas of Responsibility
  • Experience within the Intelligence Community, CCMDs (J2X/3X), CI/HUMINT/SOF
  • MUST possess a current TS security clearance with SCI eligibility and counterintelligence scope polygraph.
