Job Description
HII is seeking skilled candidates to join United States Air Force Joint Mission Assurance Assessment (JMAA) teams in the Ft. Meade area. These teams perform Mission Assurance Assessment (MAA) missions integrating Mission Assurance-related programs and activities into a comprehensive, standardized, risk management assessment that assesses probabilistic risk to assets, systems, and essential capabilities.

Essential Job Responsibilities
Team members support the three phases of Mission Assurance Assessments including the Pre-Assessment Phase (mission analysis and pre-site survey); the Assessment Phase (vulnerability/risk assessment); and the Post-Assessment Phase (post analysis and reporting). Support to these phases is in accordance with DoD Instruction 3020.45 (Mission Assurance Construct) and CJCSI 3209.01A Mission Assurance Construct Implementation.
The primary tasks are to conduct assessments of supporting Defense Critical Infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities which can be exploited by the UAS threat. Ability to apply Radio Frequency (RF) engineering principals to evaluate spectrum dependent technologies. Familiarization with a wide variety of spectrum dependent systems including radars, communications, data links, SATCOM, GPS technologies. Additionally, the analyst will need to determine root causes and recommend methods of resolution; and provide expert advice on the development, integration, operation of and planning for spectrum specific countermeasures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
The primary tasks are to conduct assessments of supporting Defense Critical Infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities which can be exploited by the UAS threat.
Provides technical support to business area management and staffs for personal computer systems software, hardware, and network connectivity. Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations, and network connectivity issues. Accountable for asset management of the information technology hardware. May assign and maintain user passwords for specialized software.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Ability to apply Radio Frequency (RF) engineering principals to evaluate spectrum dependent technologies. Familiarization with a wide variety of spectrum dependent systems including radars, communications, data links, SATCOM, GPS technologies. Additionally, the analyst will need to determine root causes and recommend methods of resolution; and provide expert advice on the development, integration, operation of and planning for spectrum specific countermeasures.
