What are the responsibilities and job description for the ENGINEER TEST 3 position at HII?
Job Description
Test Engineers are responsible for reviewing the System Test Requirements provided by Contract Specification and Engineering Department, gathering equipment and system performance specifications for each construction contract and incorporating those specifications into a structured test philosophy and approach and providing Operational Test with Test Instructions and Procedures that adequately demonstrate the equipment and system performance to the External Customer that complies with the specifications / contract. Test Engineers identify test documents required to be developed (Test Index) and preparing and writing the Test Procedure (TP). The Test Engineer utilizes the application of control processes (problem reporting), which are necessary in order to ensure quality feedback and the maintenance of records reflect Test Verification Records (Test Reports) are in compliance with contract specifications, Quality Management and test requirements.
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience; HS Diploma with 13 years of experience. A combination of education and experience can be used in lieu of degree.
