HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Computer Network Architect to support the Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWCAD) IT Enterprise Engineering, Operations, Hosting Support Services to provide enterprise-wide support for all NAWCAD's and NAVAIR's IT infrastructure. All interested parties must comply with the Navy's Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) framework. This position will require working onsite in Patuxent River, MD.
This is contingent upon contract award.

Job Description

Essential Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN) intranets, extranets, and other data communication networks.
- Perform network emulation/virtualization, analysis, and planning.
- May also design network and computer security measures.
- May install and upgrade systems software and maintain software configuration management. May research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
- Client requirements: Bachelor's degree and three (3) or more years of experience performing work (network support) related to the role.
- An active Secret security clearance is required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
- Knowledge of networking operations and associated peripheral equipment: LANs, WANs, remote access systems, routers and/or firewalls.
Preferred Requirements
- A TS/SCI security clearance is preferred.
- A CompTIA Security certification is preferred.
