What are the responsibilities and job description for the Final Inspection and Quality Technician position at Hiker Trailers?

What You’ll Do:
- Perform final production inspections on teardrop trailers to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Identify and carry out any necessary fixes—ranging from 12V electrical wiring and wood finishing to parts installation and final detailing
- Assist in doing spot checks at various production stations to catch issues early and support ongoing quality improvement
- Collaborate with the production team to resolve quality concerns quickly and efficiently
- Help maintain a clean and organized inspection area
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong skills in:
- 12V electrical wiring
- Woodworking or cabinetry
- General trailer parts installation
- Detailing and finishing work
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with team members
- Previous experience in trailer/RV, auto, or similar industries is a plus
- Willingness to jump in wherever needed and help keep quality high across the shop

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
