Position Overview:
We’re hiring a Quality Control Technician to join our production team. This hands-on role is responsible for inspecting trailers throughout the build process, identifying and fixing issues, installing components, and performing repair or aftermarket work on customer trailers.
If you’re detail-oriented, mechanically skilled, and take pride in doing things right the first time, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality checks at various stages of trailer production
- Identify workmanship or material issues and correct them as needed
- Install key trailer components (e.g., electrical, cabinetry, hardware, etc.)
- Assist with repair work and aftermarket upgrades on returned trailers
- Work closely with the production team to uphold high quality standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality findings and fixes
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on mechanical or fabrication experience (trailers, RVs, auto, or similar a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship mindset
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair various components
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-team environment
- Willingness to learn and work across multiple areas of trailer production
Nice to Have (but not required):
- Experience with 12V electrical systems
- Carpentry or cabinetry background
- Welding or metal fabrication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
