Our client needs a Manufacturing Engineer to add to their growing team. The Manufacturing Engineer will utilize continuous improvement and lean manufacturing to solve problems and address long-term process improvement and capital equipment projects. The Manufacturing Engineer reports to the Plant Manager.

What you will be doing :
Lead projects with focus on implementing improvements to equipment and processes as they relate to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost KPIs.
Provide technical support for manufacturing processes and equipment.
Generate drawings for production jigs and fixtures.
Implement product engineering for manufacturability.
Provide necessary support to the production floor on a day-to-day basis as products are being built.
Evaluates manufacturing processes, engages outside equipment vendors and solicits operators input to drive continuous improvement.
Analyze production downtime or bottlenecks, establish trends, determine root cause of failure and corrective action.
Work with teams to develop, procure, and implement assembly processes for new and existing product lines.
Troubleshoot, improve, and help maintain plant tooling, fixtures, equipment and processes.
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
What they are looking for :
B.S. Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
At least 3 years of work experience providing process improvement, capital projects and project management in a manufacturing environment that has metal fabrication, CNC machining, milling, welding and assembly.
3D CAD skills are required, SolidWorks is preferred.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are needed.
