The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Commercial Account Manager to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Roseland, NJ. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a hybrid position, working 3 days in-office after initial training/introductory period. Introductory period may require 5 days per week in office.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Producers and Account Executives to handle active book in Professional Risk Unit.
- Manage all aspects of client’s commercial insurance needs, from information gathering, preparing applications and renewal marketing to policy administration.
- Participate in day-to-day communication with clients proactively
- Assist clients with questions and issue resolution
- Participate as a Team member in a fast-paced, growing sales environment open to continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three to five years experience with knowledge of professional liability coverages preferred.
- Microsoft, AMS360 and ImageRight experience a plus.
- NJ Insurance license required
- Knowledge of Commercial Insurance, mostly small business, with carrier online rating knowledge a must.
- Strong organization and analytical skills.
- Strong time management skills
