The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Personal Lines Marketer to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Uniondale, NY. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities:
- Review insurance applications, gather necessary information about the applicant and the insured property or vehicle.
- Analyze risk factors.
- Educate customers on the benefits and features of coverages and products
- Present quotations, spreadsheets, schedules of insurance and proposals to clients.
- Interact and create relationships with producers, and carriers
Qualifications:
- NY Insurance knowledge
- Independent usage and understanding of manual rating, eligibility and guidelines
- Knowledge of specific carrier software to calculate premiums
- Knowledge of excel a must
- Ability to maintain detail records and explain rating decisions
- Knowledge of HNW markets- Middle Markets carriers, Travelers, Progressive
- Knowledge of Flood, Workers Compensation and Builders Risk insurance
Benefits:
- Compensation: $85,000-$90,000/yr.
