What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Auditor position at Hilco Technologies?
POSITION RESPONSIBLITIES:
Periodic checks at all operating work centers and inspections per Work Instructions / Training. Record results of inspection per Work Instruction; Daily Log, ensure procedures and work instructions are being followed, miscellaneous items as they occur / are assigned.
Essential Functions
PRIMARY
Inspect and document per work instructions
Ensure operators have been trained & verified
Mold Change Check Sheet / Restart
Monitor Gage Calibration & gage condition
Adherence to ISO [Quality and Environmental] procedures, policies and work instructions.
SECONDARY
Assist in running presses
Stand in during breaks for operators
Containment, rework
Other tasks as assigned
Required Education and Experience
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent Basic Blueprint Reading, ability to use standard measuring tools; interpersonal skill and time management skills.
EXPERIENCE
previous experience as a machine operator or other experience with demonstrated abilities.
experience as an Auditor/Inspector, familiar with typical terms and their meaning, training of others, SPC basic understanding, ability to use micrometers and calipers.
