Job Description:

Hilco Enterprise Valuation Services is fast-growing division of Hilco Valuation Services. Our Disputes Advisory practice provides case assessment, complex financial modeling, valuation analysis, damages formulation, and expert witness testimony in a variety of financial and legal matters Members of our team often submit expert reports and provide expert testimony at trial, and team members provide vital support for these efforts.  We are looking for a Director to work with staff in support of senior professionals as outlined in the Responsibilities and Requirements sections below. The ideal candidate will possess experience with valuation, forensic accounting and/or financial due diligence procedures and analysis.

This is an opportunity to utilize your analysis, project management, and analytic abilities to ensure that our projects are managed to successful completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate leadership through managing teams preparing expert analysis, including being a point of contact for external clients and internal team members

  • Provide quality consulting services to attorneys, general counsels, and boards of directors to ensure the end product will support thorough and grounded expert financial opinions

  • Serve as project lead in expert analysis in the areas of finance, accounting, valuation, or other relevant fields and deliver written and quantitative work product

  • Create financial models and cash flow analysis, completing business related valuations and other analyses as dictated by the needs of the client or transaction

  • Develop new revenue opportunities through leveraging unique relationships as well as assisting with the revenue-generating activities of other Hilco colleagues

  • Demonstrate thought leadership through participating in industry events, continuing education programs (CLE and CPE), or other outreach as appropriate

  • Demonstrate internal leadership to promote our culture of respect, transparency, and excellence. Provide mentorship and career development opportunities to our team

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10 years of financial analysis, expert services, valuation, accounting, or other relevant experience

  • Demonstrated marketability through business development work experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university. Advanced degrees and professional certifications are encouraged

  • Excellent interpersonal and writing skills

  • Energetic and passionate attitude towards our work and towards working with a team

  • Close attention to detail

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently and without supervision while meeting client demands and managing internal deadlines

  • Strong Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint skills

  • Provide expert analysis in the areas of finance, accounting, valuation, or other relevant fields and deliver written and quantitative work product

  • Demonstrate leadership through managing teams preparing expert analysis, including being a point of contact for external clients and internal team members

  • Creating financial models, cash flow analysis, completing business related valuations, and other analyses as dictated by the needs of the client company or transaction

  • Reviewing internal and external communications, including client proposals and expert reports
