Job Objective :
Monitors, maintains, and controls the safe, healthy and environmentally sound operations of the gas / oil pipelines
Essential Job Responsibilities :
- Reviews and monitors prior shift, to check for accuracy, daily computer log and scan process board.
- Monitors and maintains operations by measuring and regulating flow of product.
- Monitors and maintains pipeline by conducting studies and inspections.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Prepares pipeline reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. Inspects equipment for safety problems, leaks, wear and tear, and makes or recommends appropriate repairs and maintenance..
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by practicing pipeline standards, adhering to legal regulations, and conducting inspections.
- Monitors and maintains logs of meter readings, test results, and adjustments made.
- Adheres to the company's values - integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.
- Supports company vision and mission.
- Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.
- Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
