We are a privately family owned and thriving dental office in the city of Burlington, Washington seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Scheduling Coordinator/Receptionist with room for advancement. Duties:
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the check in and check out process, including collecting payments and updating patient records and maintaining a welcoming reception area.
- Patient Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients via phone, email, and in-person interactions, providing clear and friendly communication about appointments, procedures, and financial arrangements.
- Data and Record Entry & Maintenance: Maintain accurate and organized patient files in our dental office's software, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Efficiently Assist in Managing Appointments: Coordinate and help schedule appointments to maximize productivity, including managing cancellation, rescheduling and waitlists to fill gaps in the schedule.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with dental assistants, hygienists, and doctors to ensure a seamless patient flow and assist with special projects or operational needs as required.

Skills Needed:
- One (1) year experience working in reception (preferably in a healthcare setting).
- One (2) year experience working in customer service.
- Answering multi-line phones with the ability to follow phone scripts, while making them your own.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, self-starter, can-do attitude, enjoys a challenge.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
