What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant operator - dairy manufacturing position at Hildebrand Farms Dairy?
We are looking for the right employee to work full-time in our processing plant. The hours begin 6 a.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and finish time is anywhere from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. depending on the days volume. As a plant operator the employee’s primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, keeping a sanitized work environment, cleaning all equipment before and after processing, and assisting with bottling milk.
To begin the day, the right employee will assist with set up, organizing the cooler, and line prep. They will then work on a four member team to wash glass bottles, while inspecting them carefully. After bottling washing you are given a 30-minute paid break. After break you will work with a three person team to bottle all the milk ensuring quality in every step. Finally you will assist with tear down and clean up.
We are looking for a quick learner who can work well in a team environment. The right individual must be detail oriented, dependable, and able to handle limited supervision. Cleaning is a critical aspect of the job.
Experience in manufacturing, cleaning or food service is appreciated, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.50 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
