Auto Body Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring customer satisfaction through attention to detail and precision.

Duties

• Perform auto body repairs on various types of vehicles, including frame straightening and panel replacement.
• Utilize power tools and equipment to carry out repairs, including welding and fabricating parts as needed.
• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess repair needs and provide accurate estimates.
• Solder and work with sheet metal to create or repair vehicle components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
• Handle heavy lifting tasks associated with vehicle parts and equipment as required.

Experience

• Proven experience in auto body repair, preferably in a dealership setting or similar environment.
• Proficiency in using power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
• Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor associated with automotive repair tasks.
• A background in mechanics is beneficial but not mandatory; however, a willingness to learn new skills is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $23.17 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
