Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage residential construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Duties:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, and scheduling
- Review Home Order form, change orders, and plans with homeowners prior to starting each project
- Inform homeowners of homeowner responsibilities and timelines
- Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Review project plans and blueprints to ensure accuracy and feasibility
- Request and maintain change orders as needed
- Create and maintain building schedules for sub-contractors, suppliers, and homeowners using OnLocation
- Monitor project progress, ensuring that timelines are met and quality standards are upheld
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect workmanship and address any issues or concerns
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and making adjustments as necessary
- Communicate with homeowners and subcontractors to provide updates on project status and address any questions or concerns
- Oversee the scheduling of materials and equipment needed for construction projects, as well as return of unused materials from the jobsite
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Oversee punch list and first year warranty work
- Recruit new trade partners as needed to support work demands and maintain construction costs

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficiency in project management software such as OnLocation
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting schematics
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire team members
