This vital position is tasked with managerial and administrative responsibilities as they impact the staff, other agencies, community organizations, individuals/families in services, and the public. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Clinical Operations, the Behavioral Health Clinic Director exercises independent judgment and performs highly responsible administrative and managerial work with staff. Must work in collaboration with community organizations and individuals receiving behavioral health services.
You will get to:
- Directly supervise staff working in the clinic, including therapists, nurses, care coordinators, business manager, and support staff
- Provide oversight to the Crisis Team Lead
- Foster an environment that supports person-centered recovery practices and trauma-informed care
- Exhibit strong leadership skills, team management, and development
- Model workplace behaviors and principles
You’ll definitely need:
- Bachelor’s degree in the Human Services or related field from an accredited university
- Five years’ experience working in the mental health field or a social service field, which includes delivery of services to individuals with behavioral health disorders
- Ability to be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional – Community Services (QMHP-CS)
- Three years of management experience, overseeing staff (preferred)
- Experience in budget management & tracking, guidance, and support (preferred)
- Current licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPC (preferred)
- A valid Texas State Driver’s License.
- Current automobile insurance and the ability to travel when necessary.

- Comfortable working with technology and can easily navigate new technology platforms

- Passion for connecting individuals and families with excellent care
- Can successfully work remotely
- Sustain a calm demeanor when under pressure to handle sometimes difficult situations.
