What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Coordinator (2 yrs experience required) position at Hill Country Outdoor Power?
Hill Country Outdoor Power is looking for a detailed oriented person to join our Outside Sales Team. This person will work directly with drivers, mechanics, and sales staff to schedule movement and repair of grounds maintenance equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage cycle of equipment repairs from our driver picking up unit from customer to returning unit to customer after repaired
- Maintain flow of correct parts to mechanics, document repairs, handle warranty claims, and the warranty return process
- Manage cycle of sold equipment from approved order to delivery
- Process purchase orders, schedule preparing new equipment for delivery, stage invoices for processing, and schedule deliveries
- Maintain schedule for one delivery driver and two mechanics
- Assist receiving and processing inbound equipment
- Assist with quality control inspections
Requirements:
- At least two years hands on work with scheduling teams
- Ability to read and interpret equipment schematics
- Provide own transportation to work
Qualifications:
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Strong planning, problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of landscape or related equipment preferred but not required
- Solid computer skills and knowledge of general business software and
- Understanding of schematic drawings and ability to interpret service manuals
- Always represent HCOP in a positive and professional manner
- Ability to move and lift up to 75 lbs.
Travel Demands:
- This position reports to the office in South Austin near the Airport daily and has no travel requirements.
