Hill Country Wound Care Vascular & Hyperbarics is seeking a full-time Program Director for our Southwest San Antonio Wound Care Center. The Program Director is responsible for the organization, leadership, planning, implementing, evaluating, and providing patient care as well as day-to-day center operations, staff management, financial management, quality/performance improvement, and community education. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. This is a non-exempt position.
I. Primary Duties
· Responsible for the operations, management and strategic growth of the Wound Care Center.
· Day-to-day operations to include: clinic workflows, processes and procedures, quality improvement, best practices, staff management, and community relations with physicians and patients.
· Provides case management to a group of patients by providing specific assessments, clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments and patient/caregiver education related to wound care management.
· Provides HBO patient assessment and chamber operation as required.
· Provides direct supervision to clinical staff (RN, LVN, CNA, Techs).
· Collaborates with other health care providers regarding clinic and patient needs.
· Consistently looks at current processes and procedures to identify and implement areas of improvement while adhering to HIPAA and JC.
· Engages in staff development, providing general in-services as well as individual instructions and orientation.
· Collaborates with Managing Directors in budgetary and financial aspects of Wound Care Center management.
· Establish strategic marketing plan with hospital(s) and physicians to plan, coordinate, and execute activities towards increased patient referrals to the Wound Care Center.
· Must be able to provide direct patient care under the supervision and guidance of the rendering provider.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field preferred and 1 year of marketing/community education in the healthcare industry and clinical operations experience OR Associate's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field preferred and 2 or more years of marketing/community education in the healthcare industry and clinical operations experience OR High School Diploma and 4 years or more years of marketing/community education in the healthcare industry and clinical operations experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· CNA, MA, LVN, or RN experience preferred.
· Must possess good verbal and written communications skills.
· Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures and/or government regulations.
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
· Working knowledge of computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, web-based database programs and the Internet.
· Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
ORGANIZATIONAL DATA: This is a nonexempt position, supervised by the Managing Director.
Hill Country Wound Care Vascular and Hyperbarics, LLC operates multiple physician-based wound centers in the Greater San Antonio area. Our newest location in Bulverde, TX will help local patients heal their chronic wounds with various modalities, including the use of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. We also are a wound management company, with desire to build relationships with other well trained wound care doctors and clinicians in establishing new wound centers within the 50 states. The management company brings both ownership, buildout, credentialing, billing, payroll and operational support to those physicians and communities we serve.
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
