SUMMARY
Responsible for Suicide Risk Screening and Assessments and receiving Helpline referral calls. Obtains initial authorization from the insurance companies. Completes the admission process. Communicates with the Business Office regarding financial issues. Collects Intake data to be given to the Physician for disposition.

Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in field of Behavioral/Social Sciences
- Effective leadership skills
- Ability to provide orientation and continuing education with co-workers
- Three (3) years experience in Intake, psychiatric setting (outpatient or inpatient) and crisis intervention, preferred
- The ability to establish rapport quickly via telephone or in person
- Must be computer literate and have excellent clerical skills
- Experience in insurance benefits verification and admission, pre-certification, preferred
- Familiar with medical and psychiatric terminology/psychotropic medications, preferred
- Handle with Care and CPR certified, preferred
