Duties
- Conduct laboratory tests and experiments following established protocols to analyze samples accurately.
- Utilize various laboratory techniques to prepare specimens for examination, including histological processing and staining.
- Maintain accurate records of test results, observations, and procedures in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with research teams to support ongoing projects, providing insights based on laboratory findings.
- Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and sanitized according to safety standards.
- Adhere to FDA regulations and best practices in handling biological materials and hazardous substances.
- Assist in the training of new staff or interns on laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as biology, veterinary science, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is highly desirable.
