What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandise Planning Manager position at Hill House Home?
POSITION OVERVIEW As Merchandise Planning Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our assortment and inventory strategy. This role requires a strong product sense with proven experience in driving strategic merchandise plans and partnering with divisional leaders to lead investment strategies that align with our business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- SALES PLANNING
Own weekly and monthly sales plan by channel
Create and manage reporting weekly / monthly on department & category levels
Propose and maintain balance of seasonal, core and carryover inventory
Propose seasonal budget and work closely with merchandising to create category budgets per collection / season
Provide replenishment targets in order to maintain OTB levels by category
