Hill International is seeking an Electrical Inspector in Oakland, California
Electrical Inspector with experience in airfield projects. Ideal candidate will have a strong background in inspecting airfield lighting systems, circuiting, and cables, as well as experience in paving work inspections on runways and taxiways. Additionally, the inspector will be responsible for tracking both civil and electrical quantities, as well as overseeing electrical testing for installations of airfield lighting.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of airfield lighting systems, including circuiting and cable installations.
- Inspect paving work on runways and taxiways per Port of Oakland and FAA.
- Track and document quantities of both civil and electrical work items (e.g., base cans, connector kits, light fixtures, edge lights, cables, AC Tonnage, Imported materials to the site, …. Etc.) and maintaining accurate records.
- Oversee and track electrical testing for all installations, including base cans, ground tags, and light fixtures, ensuring all testing meets project requirements.
- Prepare and submit daily inspection reports, including photographic documentation of inspection activities.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Inspector, preferably on airfield projects.
- In-depth knowledge of airfield lighting systems, circuiting, cabling, and electrical testing.
- Familiarity with paving work inspections and civil quantities tracking.
- Extensive experience working night shifts to accommodate airfield operational requirements, ensuring minimal disruption to airport activities.
- Experience communicating with Air Traffic Control Tower and driving on airfields.
