MEP Project Manager

Job Description

Hill International is seeking a Project Manager in Washington, DC

Hill is seeking to employ a Project Manager with Electrical or MEP experience for a project in Washington, DC to serve as owner’s representatives on the modernization of an unoccupied, historical federal building complex with an expected construction cost of $2.0 billion. The project is underway and is expected to take at least another three years to finish.

Responsibilities

• Serve as one of Hill’s six on-site project managers with total responsibility for specific work packages as assigned.
• Scope includes all aspects of project management as an owner’s representative including quality assurance, change order management, issue resolution, coordination, project controls, and reporting.
• Incumbent reports to a Senior Project Manager for Operations and another Senior Project Manager for Project Controls in a matrix organizational structure.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Relevant experience in managing Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural construction is required.
• Experience with the USACE QA process is preferred.
• Professional registration as a PE, CCM, or PMP is preferred.
• Experience managing Construction Manager as Constructor (“CMc”) or Construction Manager at Risk (“CMAR)” project delivery is preferred.
• General Contractor experience is preferred.
• Experience managing federal construction projects is preferred.
• Experience managing historic renovation construction projects is preferred.
• Must be available to work full time onsite in Washington, DC.
