Hill International is seeking a Project Manager - Waste/Wastewater in Phoenix, Arizona with experience in Water/Wastewater. This role requires the individual to be full time onsite in Phoenix, Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Supervising staff to ensure projects are completed successfully and efficiently.
- Technical specification review and creation for city standards.
- Negotiating and preparing contract change orders and adjustments.
- Producing and evaluating project cost estimates and construction documentation.
- Reviewing construction document submittals, material submittals, and pay estimates.
- Preparing scope of work, evaluating, and approving final engineering services and construction cost proposals.
- Providing expert guidance on the technical aspects of project design and construction documentation.
- Producing, reviewing, and interpreting plans and drawings to ensure compliance with standards and contract documents.
- Preparing correspondence to vendors and furnishing comprehensive documentation for client.
- Review field projects being designed or constructed
- Manage multiple ongoing professional services and construction projects.
- Present project related information during public meetings: for both in-person and virtual settings
- Analyze project schedules, budgets, and critical paths to ensure timely and effective project delivery while maintaining adherence to both the schedule and budget constraints.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related engineering degree.
- Five years of experience in the practice of civil engineering or architecture on water/wastewater projects.
- Professional Engineer license required.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Demonstrated experience managing project cost/budget, scope, schedule, and resources, managing vendors, and overseeing formal planning, tracking, and reporting project performance
- Proficient using Microsoft Applications (including MS Project).
- Must be willing to work full time onsite in Phoenix, AZ.
