Scheduler

Hill International is seeking a Scheduler in Phoenix, Arizona

• Prepare, update and maintain master program schedule integrating various airport projects. Review and analyze interproject relationships and sequences.
• Maintain coding structure, EPS, WBS to organize program schedules. Integrate project data with Oracle Unifier.
• Review contractor baselines and updates to conform with project requirements. Schedule validation during stages of design, including schedule changes associated with cost trends.
• Work with Aviation Project Manager and provide analysis of delays, forecasts, risks and assessment of construction progress.
• Review and analyze activity sequence, critical path and work packages.
• Identify project delays, propose schedule solutions to delays and work with the Team to solve issues.
• Analyze, evaluate, and forecast status against an established schedule/baseline, determine progress and trends.
• Participate in reporting and authorization requests, development and maintenance of monthly and quarterly reports.
• The candidate will be responsible for the coordination of assigned projects’ design and construction with all disciplines
• Identify activity linkages, gaps, float, logic relationships, dependencies between tasks and projects, and opportunities for synergies.
• Prepare schedule CIP monthly reports.
• Develop and update monthly program dashboards using MS Power Business Intelligence.
• Must be able to conduct presentations, and must possess good verbal and written communication skills and experience evaluating design and construction schedules

• Candidate must have minimum of twenty (15) years of progressive design and construction scheduling experience, working on major capital programs of $500 million or greater in the US.
• The candidate must have demonstrated experience in producing and managing program master schedules and working with designers and contractors to review and monitor individual project schedules
• Prefer to have previous experience with a major general contractor with the ability to understand the logic and sequencing to build major terminal, airfield, infrastructure, utility, parking and other airport projects.
• The candidate must be familiar with the various contract delivery methods (for example design- bid-build, design-build, and construction manager at risk).
• The candidate must have experience creating conceptual schedules for prospective and new projects.
• Candidate must have a successful track record in conflict resolution; have a positive attitude and a propensity for collaborative teamwork.

Special attention will be paid to crucial scheduling items such as:

• Critical path analysis and schedule impact reviews
• Identification of schedule delays and potential risks
• Understanding of construction sequences and logic
• Knowledge of in the review of schedule updates and changes to the schedule
• Ability to independently engage with project managers, contractors, designers and stakeholders.
