Medical Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including coding and billing information.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards within the facility.
• Provide education to patients regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with other medical staff to enhance patient care and improve operational efficiency.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• Experience in patient care settings, preferably in internal medicine or hospital environments.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in healthcare.

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
