Job Description:
Hill Physicians Medical Group is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to assist in multiple projects across the Marketing & Communications Department both internal and external facing. The marketing goal is to retain members and gain new members through the creation and execution of engaging campaigns and communication. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual looking to start their career in marketing and communications to participate in our growing department.
The role will include collaborating across various functions including digital design and web management, graphic design, social media, and content development. The individual will manage all company branded promotional items (give-a-ways) for special events including inventory, coordination for distribution and company department expensing.
The ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller, have strong oral and written communication skills and is passionate about physician and patient healthcare topics. A strong cross functional ability to work in an internal agency-centric marketing department. An understanding of the ever-changing landscape of healthcare and Medicare advantage and brokers is helpful.
Duties include:
  • Written Content: Assists in the development and revisions of written content for the website working in collaboration with the Website Manager. Create presentations to inform identified brokers and human resource managers about Hill Physicians Medical Group.
  • Marketing Materials: Works with marketing colleagues to evaluate requests for marketing and communication projects submitted from other departments. Assists in the development of content in partnership with the project manager, other departments, and the graphic designer.
  • Inventory Management: Manages the marketing department inventory for giveaways for company events and open enrollment. Orders branded material, ensures a supply in anticipation of ongoing events, fills inventory requests by stakeholders.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitors the RSS feeds daily/weekly to assess activity among competitive companies in healthcare that may be useful in company newsletters or blogs. Provides a monthly summary with links to distribute.
  • Open Enrollment Coordination: Coordinates the logistics and execution of Open Enrollment to include coordinating and confirming fairs, communicating with Provider Service Associates and Care Management (for blood pressure monitoring) to manage the booth at health fairs, and organizing materials for the table. Represents Hill Physicians with external partner firms to collaborate efforts at CalPERS open enrollment and large to mid-size companies across 12 counties where Hill Physicians operates. Develops content required for open enrollment including brochures and meeting schedules.
  • Medicare Advantage - Owns the coordination and execution of marketing to those who are aging into Medicare. This requires collaborating with data governance to identify consumers of the appropriate age, creating mailings that are sent three times over a three-month period, and monitoring results of those who sign up. The responsibilities span working closely with the Broker Liaison to coordinate meetings with brokers and ensure listings on the website and management for meetings.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Ability to work cross functionally and attend events, when needed including physician meetings, open enrollment, AEP meetings, and annual company events.
  • Strong communication skills and experience writing content for various audiences and ability to tailor messages to various audiences.
  • Knowledge or interest in social media or web content development a plus.
  • General understanding of healthcare with knowledge of Medicare Advantage a plus.
  • Strong organization skills and follow up a requirement with event management skills a plus
  • Up to 20% travel required throughout the Northern CA and Bay Area during enrollment, September – November, to possibly support open enrollment and broker events.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, business administration, and some experience in leadership, communication and organization through university or professional experience.

Additional Information:
Salary: $68,000 - $80,000 Annual
