Job Functions:
- Oversee field labor crews of 1 to several laborers to ensure correct methods of construction
- Enforce company safety rules/regulations and report violations to senior staff
- Shadows the Superintendent in the management of project production
- Can produce a Two (2) and Six (6) week schedule/production forecast with minimal supervision from the Superintendent
- Assists the Superintendent with daily reports by documenting and reporting the progress of all labor crews under his supervision
- Ensures that the jobsite stays clean and all materials orderly
- Assists the Assistant Superintendent with verifying materials deliveries and staging
- Determine qualifications of new crew members and advise Project Manager/Superintendent of additional training needs.
- Directs task assignments for Foremen & Laborers with direct supervisions from Superintendent
- In the absence of the Superintendent, conducts weekly Toolbox Talks
- Manages the workflow and production of a small group of subcontractors with direct supervision from the Superintendent
- Assists the superintendent with the creation of the baseline schedule and with all Two (2) and Six (6) week schedule/production forecasts
- Attends all subcontractor meetings and assists with conducting the meeting relative to assigned subcontractors
